Keene Day Care Center | CACFP
Keene Day Care Center has been a part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for more than three decades. The CACFP is a federally funded program that reimburses organizations for the nutritious food they feed children and adults who are eligible. This program provides quality standards for the meals that are served at the daycare. Keene Day Care Center is committed to exposing children to a variety of foods, by following a meal pattern of different meats, grains, fruits, and vegetables. Meals are served family-style by the teachers, with positive conversation and encouragement to try new things. The importance of healthy eating at a young age promotes growth, brain development, and sets children up for healthy habits as they mature in life.
